Infrared Wavelength Breakdown

Near Infrared (NIR)

This is the shortest infrared wavelength that penetrates the skin's surface. NASA has studied Near infrared wavelengths for promoting faster wound healing, reducing inflammation and cell regeneration. If that was not enough, studies have shown that NIR assists in anti-aging and natural collagen production.

Mid Infrared (MIR)

Longer then the Near wavelength, the Mid wavelength penetrates deeper into the body's soft tissue, where inflammation occurs. Helping reduce inflammation allows the Mid wavelength to increase blood and oxygen circulation, resulting in reducing pain and speeding the healing process.

Far Infrared (FIR)
