Prior to using your sauna for the first time, wipe down the inside with a damp cloth. Don't worry if you notice a strong smell initially, as this is normal. If this is the case, keep the door open until the smell dissipates.
To clean the outside of your sauna, you can use a feather duster or a scratch-resistant cloth. If there is stubborn dirt, a damp cloth can also be used.
Our suggestion is to put a gentle towel on both the sauna floor and bench after every use in order to soak up any perspiration from your sweat session.
In case you notice any scratches or stains on your sauna, you can get rid of them by using a fine-grade sandpaper on the affected area. If necessary, you may also consider using a wood preserver, wood oil or furniture polish to seal it.
